Participation

Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, CogSIMA 2020 will be held in the form of a Virtual Conference (see COVID-19 notices). Representing the first time ever that CogSIMA will take place in virtual form, we are excited about the novel opportunities this provides, allowing a wider audience to participate in the conference who otherwise would not have been able to travel to the conference location.

Accessing the Virtual Conference

We will use the video-conferencing software Zoom for the virtual conference. If you are not familiar with Zoom, please consult https://zoom.us/ for downloading their free client software, which also offers instructive video tutorials. On most systems, Zoom sessions can easily be joined from one's web browser by opening the URL to this Zoom meeting.

Please refer to the conference program for joining the conference Zoom sessions - each session description contains the URL to the corresponding Zoom session.

To keep access simple, all tutorials, keynotes, talks, oral sessions and the workshop will use the same video-conferencing URL, i.e., Zoom meeting ID:
Join virtual session (via Zoom): https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83805535204
Meeting ID: 838 0553 5204

For the poster session on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 10:00 - 11:00 EDT, each poster presenter will host their own Zoom meeting room. Please refer to the poster session description to find the corresponding meeting URL for each poster.

Note that the password for joining these virtual sessions has been e-mailed to registered attendees. Please contact admin@cogsima.org if you are a registered attendee and have not received your password.

Accessing the Conference Proceedings

Conference attendees will be able to access the conference proceedings from Wednesday, Aug. 19, on. Manuscripts can be downloaded from the conference program by clicking the correponding paper title, which will direct to the pdf.

Discussion

To facilitate the discussion among attendees and presenters, the EDAS program page also provides a message board for each paper. We would kindly encourage you to use this option of posting your questions to the presenters. Please consult this graphical tutorial for instructions on how to use this message board.

Please do not hesitate to contact admin@cogsima.org if you have any questions.
